After several years of negotiations, the new rule book for carbon markets, Article 6, was finally agreed at COP26. The new rules bring greater clarity and are a statement of intent, as well as a sign of real confidence in the ability of carbon markets, including Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCMs), to scale climate ambition
