New York Climate Week is one of the most important global moments for climate and decarbonization conversations, bringing together leading policymakers, investors, corporate buyers, project developers, and market infrastructure leaders from across the ecosystem. Â
Throughout the week, Sylvera will host and participate in a series of discussions, roundtables, and market briefings focused on the decisions shaping the future of carbon credits, EACs and lower-carbon commodities.
Additional events and speakers will be announced as we confirm them.

🏠The New World of Corporate Decarbonization: Lower-carbon commodities, EACs and Carbon Credits
The rules for corporate decarbonization are being rewritten at once. SBTi V2 sets what counts toward a target, the GHG Protocol and ISO are merging corporate accounting into a single standard for 2028. This changes how companies are approaching setting and achieving their targets - across carbon credits, commodities, EACs and more. There is more than one lever on a Scope 1, 2 or 3 number, but they do not all count the same way. Each carries a different cost per tonne and a different accounting treatment. Credits, physical supply and certificates are often discussed in separate rooms by separate teams. We're bringing all sides of the conversation into one room.
🌳 De-Mything Forest Carbon Credits: Scaling Aperture Across the Market
Hosted by MITIGA and as part of the Nest Climate Campus, our Climate Consulting Lead Diyva Krishnan will be speaking at this event, highlighting a fundamental shift in the perspective surrounding forest carbon credits, driven by recent validations from the ICVCM, with the CCP Label and SBTi. The discussion will explore the evolution of these credits and how high-quality nature-based solutions are scaling to benefit corporate portfolios, sovereign goals and the planet.
🍻 Carbon Market Social
Three days of panels down, a few more to go. Wednesday night, leave the badge at the hotel and join Sylvera for a happy hour built around one thing: good conversation with the people who actually move this market. No stage, no pitch deck, no clipboard. Just drinks, a happy hour, and a great community that makes Climate Week worth the jet lag.
