🏭 The New World of Corporate Decarbonization: Lower-carbon commodities, EACs and Carbon Credits
Limited spaces for BUYERS only. The rules for corporate decarbonization are being rewritten - SBTi V2 sets what counts toward a target, the GHG Protocol and ISO are merging corporate accounting into a single standard for 2028. This changes how companies are approaching setting and achieving their targets across carbon credits, commodities, EACs and more. There is more than one lever on a Scope 1, 2 or 3 number, but they do not all count the same way. Each carries a different cost per tonne and a different accounting treatment. Credits, physical supply and certificates are often discussed in separate rooms by separate teams. We're bringing all sides of the conversation into one room.

Our VP Policy Ben Rattenbury will join this forward-looking discussion on the future of global compliance markets. This panel will explore how carbon market participants and policymakers are adapting to evolving market dynamics amid geopolitical tensions and shifting government priorities. Market leaders and experts will examine emerging trends in the supply and demand for internationally transferred mitigation outcomes (ITMOs) and consider how these developments will shape the future of international carbon markets. With only a handful of countries expected to use Article 6 to meet their 2030 climate targets, demand from airlines seeking to comply with CORSIA will be a critical source of finance for many carbon projects in the near term.
