Molly Peters-Stanley

Senior Fellow at Sylvera, Chair of the CORSIA TAB and Former US lead for Article 6

Molly Peters-Stanley is a global leader in international carbon markets policy, playing a central role in the negotiation and design of Article 6 and CORSIA. Molly led the US team negotiating carbon markets at the UNFCCC - Article 6 of the Paris Agreement - from COP21 (Paris, 2015) to the conclusion of the rule book at COP29 (Baku, 2024). She was also a founding member of the UNFCCC's Supervisory Body for the (6.4) Mechanism (SBM), the primary decision making group designing the 6.4 mechanism, from its inception until the end of 2025. In addition Molly is the long-standing chair of the CORSIA, the international offsetting scheme for the aviation sector under ICAO, a UN body. At Sylvera Molly advises the policy team's development of next-generation decision support tools for national governments and market participants considering carbon market engagement.
